Administrative Assistant
Job Title: Administration
Job Location: Park Lodge, Wolverhampton
Pay: £23,000 - £26,000 Pro Rata
Job Purpose:
To provide administrative support to the Administration Manager and Hospital Team and provide some reception cover.
Main Tasks:
1. Draft letters; undertake filing and general administrative duties.
2. Reception cover.
3. Provide administrative support to the Administration Manager.
4. Assist in keeping our clinical digital records up to date.
5. Assist with minute taking and attending clinical and staff meetings.
6. Assist with patient monies including maintaining good electronic and paper records of incomings/out-goings.
7. Ability to work on own initiative and devise new systems.
8. Ensure all work is accurate and precise.
9. Able to meet deadlines within a short timeframe.
10. The ability to demonstrate a methodical organised and detail conscious approach to work.
11. Be flexible and adaptable.
12. Demonstrate good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
13. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
Professiona/Experience:
1. Have at least one years experience in an administration role.
2. Possess formal secretarial qualifications.
Desirable :
1. Experience in a Hospital setting.
Own Professional Development and Training:
Be an active, reflective participant in regular supervision and appraisal.
Through appraisal identify training needs and participate in appropriate courses to meet these needs.
Attend courses and seminars, including all mandatory training, as required by the registered manager.
Participate in the induction of new employees to the service.
General:
1. The post-holder will have access to a wide range of confidential information relating to patients, staff and the company which must not be divulged to any unauthorised person in any circumstances.
2. Ensure that all hospital policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
