Our 24-hour residential care is shaped around maintaining residents’ independence and tailoring the support to their individual needs.
Our registered nurses provide additional care for those with more complex needs including residents who may have experienced a stroke or living with cancer. Skilled in dementia care, we can provide practical support for families and can step up the support needed if symptoms increase over time.

We offer 37 rooms (some of which can be shared), all tastefully decorated and benefitting from en-suite facilities. We’ll assist you to make the space your own with personal items including furniture, photographs and ornaments.
Diverse activities programme
Staying active is so important and at Ashbourne, there is never a shortage of interesting things to do and get involved with. It is the role of our Activities Co-ordinator to encourage residents to take part in group activities, such as exercise, bingo, quizzes and listening to music. We’ll also spend time one-to-one with residents concentrating on person-centred interests as well as benefiting together from regular visits from outside entertainers and performers.
Landscaped Gardens & Patio
We love our outdoor area, a real haven of our home and so do our residents, members of their family and friends. Our tranquil and lovely patio and landscaped garden is a wonderful place to spend a few hours. Ideal for enjoying a cuppa and piece of delicious cake, chatting with friends or simply making the most of some relaxation time.

At Ashbourne we offer a fantastic menu for all dietary requirements, complete with new cuisines to sample and of course those good old family favourites.
