SEN Environment
Set within an idyllic 38 acres of secluded gardens, Sturmer Hall offers cutting edge Teaching and Learning technologies with it’s modern School buildings. The installation of sliding walls allows a hugely responsive Teaching environment, transforming from spacious and exciting communal learning to sheltered and individual teaching spaces.
The outdoor classrooms, sensory gardens, multi-use games areas and woodland provide substantial opportunity for physical and agricultural education, as well as on-site additional provisions such as forest school.
Providing a number of boarding placements within a substantial on-site property, Sturmer Hall facilitates 38 week placements with specialty wrap around care all within it’s private and inspiring environmental backdrop.
Admission Criteria
Sturmer Hall provides Education and 38-week Care to Children and Young People who may have an Education, Health Care Plan [EHCP]. Pupils are carefully matched to their year groups on admission, with Education provision from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 4.
Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs are met, along with neurodiversity and cognition and learning differences. Every Child and Young Persons EHCP and needs will be carefully considered in partnership with the local authority and virtual school to ensure the best possible matching of community participants.
